I am a Ph.D. student at the MAK group of the Applied
Mathematics IV
department in the UPC. Currently I am enjoying a FPI grant of the
Spanish Ministry of Education and Science.
Short biography.
- Born in Caracas, Venezuela in 1979. Spanish resident
since 1995.
- Graduate in Mathematics, Facultat de Ciències
of the
Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Spain), 2003.
- From May 2004 to April 2008, Ph.D. student in the
Research Group on
Mathematics Applied to Cryptography, in the Department of Applied
Mathematics IV of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. My
advisor is Dr. Carles Padró.
- In October 2006 I defended my Minor Thesis
(Tesina-Master Thesis), so
I obtained the DEA (Diploma d'Estudis Avançats - Advanced
Studies Diplome).

- Secret Sharing Schemes.
- Coding Theory.
- Problems relating cryptography, combinatorics and linear algebra.
