Vilanova i la Geltrú, 6-8 July 2000
Accommodation
There are several hotels in Vilanova, and most of them are small,
so the participants will be distributed in different hotels.
We have collected information about them,
and if you wish we can book a room for you.
In this case you should pay an amount
(see the following section)
that will be subtracted from the total amount of your accommodation.
You can find the list of the hotels and their approximate prices
on this page.

Registration
There are three steps to follow.
Please read them carefully.
Fill in the registration form.
Besides your personal data,
you are asked whether you plan to present a poster
and whether you expect us to book a room for you.
Pay the registration fee (and, if required, the booking of the room).
Registration:
10000 PTA or 60 EURO for each participant.
This covers the lunches and coffee breaks,
as well as a copy of the Proceedings.
Booking of the room:
15000 PTA or 90 EURO for each room.
We offer two ways to pay:
Bank transfer to the account of the workshop
(available only from Spain).
Data of the account:
Account holder: GeomPhys2000,
Miguel C. Muñoz and Xavier Gràcia.
Order of payment with VISA or MASTERCARD
(recommended only from abroad).
Below you will find an "Order of payment" form to fill in
with the required data,
which include your credit card number.
This form is not sent through the net
(there is not a "submit" button):
you have to fill and print it out from your computer,
sign the printed form,
and send it by ordinary mail to our address
(see
above).
We suggest that you confirm delivery of the printed order either
by sending an email message or
(better) by faxing the printed order to our fax
(+34) 93 401 5981.
We will confirm by email the receipt of the order.
Fill in the "Details of payment" form.
Whatever be the method of payment you choose,
we should know exactly what is being payed.
This information will be contained in that form.

Grants
A little number of grants for Ph. D. Students will be available.
Interested people should send an application for the grant
including a brief curriculum
(no more than three pages) by email to
geomphys2000@mat.upc.es.
Deadlines (tentative)
Application for a grant: April, 23.
Booking of a room: April, 30.
Registration and Submission of a poster: May, 30.
Once these dates have past,
we are prepared to accept new registrations for the workshop and
the accommodation, as far as we are able to do so.
Hotels in Vilanova are nearly full in July,
so we recommend you to confirm the booking of a room
as soon as possible.
