About the Research Group

The Research Group on Mathematics Applied to Cryptography began its activities in 1992 under the direction of Professor Paz Morillo. Our research is focused on mathematical problems appearing in Cryptography, mainly in Public key Cryptography, Distributed Cryptography and Unconditionally Secure Cryptographic Protocols. Currently, the head of the group is Jorge Villar.

- MAK seminar on Wednesday, July 8th, 2015, 12h00, C3-204, Ignacio Cascudo (Aarhus University): Server-Aided Two-Party Computation with Minimal Connectivity in the Simultaneous Corruption Model.
- The group MAK invites eligible researchers to apply jointly for a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships (H2020-MSCA-IF-2015). Our Expression of Interest can be seen here. The call is already open, and will close on September 10th, 2015.
- New location for the website La Cambra Negra, which contains the Catalan translation of The Black Chamber, by Simon Singh.
